You've been told.
I repeat. This is not a blog.
It may look like a blog, smell like a blog, feel, taste, sound, and see dead people like a blog, but it is not a blog.
It's momma might call it a blog, and it's poppa too. It might raise it's hand in class when teacher calls blog, but it is not a blog.
Sure, it will read like a blog. It's format is blog-like. Visiting the website for the first time, you might think this is very bloggy. But have no doubts, this is not a blog, and is definitely not blogful.
So then, what is this, you might ask? I'm not too picky on what it's called, as long as it is not called a blog. Blog, no, (insert any other word in English language provided not a derivative of blog)
What this IS is an account, description, archiving, whatever, of my summer. I'm hoping to update as often as possible with (hopefully) lots of pictures, stories, rants, essays, and whatever else comes to mind. I also thought it would be cool if I posted a map detailing where I will be and when and have like a highlighter covering the ground I cover as I am covering it. Umm, but I don't really know how to do that. But it would be pretty cool. I don't know how much anyone will be checking this thingy either. My hope is that some people will check it every now and then and get a good laugh and then move on with the rest of their day. We'll see.
I'll be adding a few more bells and whistles in the coming days. In the meantime, time to pack for the first stop in Colorado!
